What happens to the money, LGE?

Posted: 17 Oct 2012 07:20 PM PDT

Penang CM Lim Guan Eng is at it again - toying around with the Bumiputras.

While giving so much emphasis in the state's development, he may have forgotten that Penang is not all about Chinese. There are many Malays and Indians too.

So, don't blame those who accused you of being a racist!

What actually had you done to the RM33.36 million allocation under the state's Bumiputera Housing Trust Account? If the money is still there, why didn't you spend it for good purposes, especially in building more low-cost houses for them?

Penang Bumiputras are your subject too, some of them had even voted for you in the last general election. But why are you sidelining them?

If the money is gone, you better come up with a good explanation as to how and where it was spent. They deserve an answer... and please don't get you deputy Mansor Osman to read your prepared media text again.

The Malays and Bumiputras on the island have been complaining about how you discriminated them of their rights for better houses and other facilities, and how the Bumi petty traders were chased away from locations provided to them under BN rule.

No need to mention Kg Manggis here but you could have at least considered their woes after taking office from Koh Tsu Koon four years ago. Maybe you don't feel how time flies!

I personally don't like the 'racism' tag given to you because Malaysians should be free from such a labeling.

So, you better prepare an answer... fast!

Pakatan Rakyat ignores Islam

Many didn't notice it, that Pakatan Rakyat 2013 Budget failed to mention anything about Islam, about allocation for mosques and 'Sekolah Agama' or anything about upholding Islam in this multi-religious country.

Having PAS as one of its component also didn't help much as PAS - deviating from its original war path - is having DAP and PKR on its back. That makes PAS toothless in the 3-party political pact.

Even Nik Aziz and Hadi Awang failed (or not allowed) to give some insights to Anwar and his economic team in preparing details for the budget. What a shame!

While BN gives much emphasis on Islam like enhancing the role of Yayasan Wakaf, withdrawal from the EPF for hajj purposes and RM200 million for Halal Industry Fund, PR has overlooked such importance, paying too much attention on other things, including a RM4 billion fund for women's movement!

Comments from MyNewsHub:
PR previously criticized BN for putting aside Sekolah Agama Rakyat (SAR) in this current Budget. PR's hypocrisy is simply sickening especially fi we are to look at the party in issues such as murtad, including the usage of the word Allah SWR by non-Muslims and Bibles in Bahasa Melayu which they support.
If the matter of akidah is small to them, what qualifies PR to question other matters regarding Islam to other people?
Muslims also need to understand that knowledge in Islam does not revolve around the religion alone. It was even stressed in the Quran that the task of mankind is to look out for knowledge in various aspect of life such as science, astronomy, mathematics etc.
That is why it is right for the government to combine all subjects in education including religious studies in the national budget.
Meanwhile, religious development in the other hand should not only revolve around ibadah such as zakat or haj, but it should be as a whole such as combating poverty which could lead people to become 'kufur' among Muslims, in terms of social and crime which is rising.
So much of an 'alternative budget'!.

Where were Hadi, Nik Aziz, Mat Sabu and the rest? Don't tell me PKR itself doesn't have any Islamic scholar who can give ideas as how Islamic clauses should be included in their budget?

Who actually worked out its details? Of course Anwar is the main brain. Who else? Only PKR and DAP?

No wonder!
