Vote Pakatan! M'sia the 12th country to legalise gay marriage

Freedom... freedom... and more freedom!

That's what we will get if Pakatan Rakyat rules the country after the 13th general elections. They will not only give free education, free money, free underwears (oopssss!) and free-for-all streets demo, they will also fulfill promises for freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of sex.

Most interesting, of course, would be gay marriage and the legalisation of LGBT.

So, vote for Pakatan Rakyat! We will become the 12th country to legalise LGBT and gay marriage. Ambiga, Marina, Anwar and others have fought hard for such 'human' rights, remember? So, it's going to happen.

And we will join the pool of 11 others, namely The Netherlands which voted to legalise gay marriage in 2000, Belgium (2003), Canada (2005), Spain (2005), South Africa (2006), Norway (2009), Sweden (2009), Iceland (2010), Portugal (2010), Argentina (2010) and Denmark (2012).

Countries where gay marriage is partly-legal are Mexico, Brazil and the United States.

On Friday,  the French Senate voted to legalise same-sex marriage in the country, putting a landmark bill on track to become law by summer.

The vote in the upper house of Parliament – led by President Francois Hollande's Socialists – comes despite boisterous protests. Opponents, mostly conservatives and fervent Roman Catholics, have sought to defend traditional marriage.

However, Malaysia could well be ahead of France to notch the 12th spot if Pakatan forms the government immediately after May 5 polls and regulate it fast, leaving the 13th spot to France.

Keen enough?
