| Posted: 02 Apr 2013 09:17 PM PDT  Announcing this on a live telecast speech, Najib who today celebrated his fourth year as prime minister after taking over from Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on April 3, 2009 hoped all Mentri Besar and Chief Minister will dissolve their respective State Assembly simultaneously to pave the way for the 13th general election. The much awaited announcement was done at the PM's office in Putrajaya, attended by all Cabinet members. (Read Najib's achievement over the last four years here) In his short speech, Najib also hoped that any changes to the Federal or state administration must be done in peace and mutual respect. For the time being, all attention is on the Election Commission. They will decide the date of nomination and polling, and the duration of campaigning.  |
