Lahad Datu: Pakatan leaders don't give it a damn!

Posted: 31 Mar 2013 10:40 AM PDT

Where were Lim Kit Siang, Karpal Singh, Lim Guan Eng, Anwar Ibrahim, Nik Aziz, Hadi Awang, Mohamad Sabu and other opposition leaders when Lahad Datu were intruded by the Suluks? Where was Tian Chua who made fun of the incident and the dead warriors?

Why didn't they make an effort to go to Sabah and visit the victims of the intrusion, instead of making irresponsible soundbites and politicising it?

If Anwar and Kit Siang can go nationwide on election campaigns, why can't they drop by at Kampung Tanduo, Felda Sahabat and a few places badly affected by the terrorist attacks? What have they offered thus far to comfort the affected families? Nothing!

And yet, they blamed Barisan Nasional government of being ineffective in providing the victims with necessary needs. What a blatant accusation when they don't really know what PM Najib's cabinet is doing.

We are a benevolent government, Mr Pakatan! We don't provide them shelter and other necessities just because we have the power, will and means but because they trust us and our security forces in duty.
Home minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein yesterday said the government is committed to helping them rebuild their lives.
"At the same time we have also set our political differences to do whatever it takes to preserve peace, protect the people, uphold our pride and defend our sovereignty," he said.
"This whole episode that followed the threat from the intruders have also ignited this national and state spirit throughout the country on the importance of our security institutions such as the police, armed forces, our volunteers."
Hishammuddin said the security forces and the volunteer came through to protect the people in their time of need.
"Ten of our finest men had perished in the line of fire and we should not allow their ultimate sacrifice be in vain," he said  after meeting with the evacuees at Dewan Cenderawasih, one of the four relief centres set for residents of 10 villages affected by the intrusion since Feb 12.

They didn't need a bunch of craps who love riding on their predicament for political reasons. BN is not such as no politics was involved in it. All is based on humanity, whether those affected are Malaysians or not.

But what you are doing is nothing but produce unfounded statement about the intrusion. As Tian Chua said, everything was tailored to Umno's script!

Your condolences and sympathy WERE scripted, instead. Admit it that Pakatan Rakyat is accusing the government of mismanaging the intrusion issue to incite hatred among Sabahans so that they give BN the boot in the next general election.

What else?

Some Pakatan leaders even went to the extent of badmouthing Najib, Home Minister Hishammuddin and Defense Minister Ahmad Zahid of making money out of the supplies for the victims. What a big lie you strewed!

I think Anwar, Kit Siang, Nik Aziz and Hadi should go to Lahad Datu and see for themselves what's actually taking place, rather than battering the government and the security forces of things they are not certain of.

To Tian Chua, you are the biggest liability for Pakatan, it seems. I don't think Pakatan will get even a single vote from the police and army in the national poll, and this might lead to your party losing Penang, Kedah and Selangor and even the PAS-stronghold Kelantan.

So, to Pakatan leaders, please stop manipulating Lahad Datu issue. Find yourself better things to do...
