Who were and are the biggest plotters and schemers in the world? I believe the biggest schemers and plotters are those with the most ill gotten colonial assets - both in the present time and in recent history. The French were at one time the masters of plotting, scheming and skull duggery. They had large colonial holdings in Africa, Indo China, Central America and in the Pacific Islands. With just a handful of Frenchmen on hand to 'jaga' their vast colonial empire the French became masters at all sorts of scheming and plotting.

In the early 1930s the French "lent" their communist double agent Loi Tek (recruited in Vietnam) to the British to infiltrate the communist dock workers unions in Singapore. Double agent "Loi Tek" later organised the Communist Party of Malaya. In 1942 the British agent "Loi Tek" handpicked an 18 year old Chin Peng to be the leader of the Perak guerrillas. Everything was planned from the beginning.

The British were of course greater schemers than the French. In 1885 an Imam Mahdi threw the Brits out of the Sudan and killed their famous general Gordon Pasha of Khartoum. The Mahdi then held the Sudan for 12 years. The Brits never gave up. British spies and informers studied the Mahdi carefully. The power of the Mahdi rested in his riverine forts by the Nile River.

The Brits had no supply lines to support their army. Hence the Brits built a railway line from Upper Egypt into the Sudan. It took them seven years. When the railway line was completed the Brits sent dismantled river gunboats by train to The Sudan. They then had the gunboats reassembled and blasted the Mahdi's forts to smithereens at the Battle of Omdurman in 1896. The Brits were led by the Irish born Horatio Herbert Kitchener (Later Field Marshall, Lord and 1st Earl).

However Sudan was only the bait. The real target of British scheming was Egypt. Sudan was ruled by Egypt which was ruled by the Ottoman Turks. In the early 19th century the Sudanese had begun to revolt against Turkish / Egyptian rule.

Then in the latter half of the 19th century, the Egyptians got the French to build a canal through the Isthmus of Suez. Ferdinand De Lesseps completed the job by 1869. This would cut the sailing time from England to India (the British jewel in the crown) by months. The British simply could not allow such a canal to be outside their control. They began salivating - and plotting.

The Egyptian government was also in debt to the British and European bankers to the extent that they could not repay their debts. The Ottoman Khedive was in the habit of building grandiose projects that brought little returns but huge debts. And Egypt was under threat from the Mahdists in Sudan. So the Egyptian government was almost financially bankrupt and under military threat. Enter the Brits. In 1875 to raise cash, the Egyptian government had to sell its share in the Suez Canal to the British. The Brits would run the Suez Canal until 1954.

The Brits also managed to "advise" the Egyptians to "accept" a Briton to run the finances of the Egyptian Government. Plus they would solve the Sudan problem. The Brits ultimately defeated the Mahdi, conquered Sudan, got the Suez Canal and also got to "colonise" Egypt. All this was done using Egyptian funds.

A by product of the Suez Canal's faster sailing time between Europe and Asia was the growth of a far away port in a place called Singapore.

My view is this : Lets just have one tax rate say 15% for both personal income tax and corporate tax. That should give the Government enough money to keep functioning. And dont argue about who creates more jobs. It is a time wasting argument.

The following news report shows that the Jews and the Muslims have more Things In Common (please do click on the link) than they will dare admit, except when it becomes too urgent - like now. Here is the news :

Jewish and Muslim groups have issued a joint call for German lawmakers to protect the right to circumcise boys after a court ruling against the rite sent shockwaves through their communities.
The June 26 ruling by the regional court in Cologne that circumcising young boys on religious grounds amounted to grievous bodily harm has caused international uproar.
Jewish & Islamic organisations. met legal and medical experts .to discuss the court's decision.

"Circumcision is an ancient ritual that is fundamental to our individual faiths
we protest in the strongest possible terms.

i. Rabbinical Centre of Europe
ii. European Jewish Parliament
iii. European Jewish Association
iv. Germany's Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs and
v. Islamic Centre Brussels.

The German Court in Cologne has ruled that circumcising your infant son or male child is causing grievous bodily harm. Not surprisingly this has brought together both Jews and Muslims who have protested this ruling by the German Court.

The idea of circumcising males is written in the Bible. Here are the references :

⁹Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. ¹⁰This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

Sometimes they had to do it twice.

Joshua 5:2

At that time the LORD said to Joshua, "Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again. And ye shall not say Ouch" (the words in italics are my additions ok)

The Bible has many other references to circumcision. It was a Jewish invention.

Ok we come to the soalan cepu mas : what does the Quran say about circumcision?

1. How many of you think circumcision is found in the Quran? (Get your potong knives ready ok).

2. How many of you think the Quran does not say anything about circumcision?

The No. 2s are correct. The Quran does not say anything about circumcision at all. There is no such thing as circumcision anywhere in the Quran.

Soalan cepu mas again : did Allah the Creator forget to mention circumcision in the Quran?

Surah 6:115 The word (kalimah) of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words (kalimah). He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

So the Quran is complete. The Quran does say the following about the creation and the perfection of the human body.

Surah 82:6 O you human being, what diverted you from your Lord Most Honorable?

Surah 82:7 The One who created you, designed you, and perfected you.

So Allah has created, designed and perfected the human body. Is there anyone who doubts these Quran verses? Remember if you dont believe the Quran, then you cannot be a Muslim. For those of you Muslims who still doubt, here is another verse from your Quran :

Surah 95:4 We created man in the best design.

So Allah has already created man in the best design. Tak ada cacat cela.

Surah 90:8 Did we not give him two eyes?

Surah 90:9 A tongue and two lips?

So the human being has been perfectly designed and constructed with two eyes, two lips, a tongue etc. There are also no imperfections in the design of the cat, dog, cow, chicken, elephant or human body. Everything has been precisely figured out, right down to the DNA. The Quran says :

Surah 54:49 Everything we created is precisely measured (Inna kulla shay-in khalaq-naahu bi qadarin)

Allah has created everything perfectly, down to the most precise measure. Here is a picture of an incredibly complicated DNA molecule which carries the genetic code which makes our human bodies so perfect.

So folks, do you think that you or your tok mudim can improve on the design of the human body which Allah has already created? Do you feel that Allah has made a mistake and that humans can rectify Allah's mistake? You are cleverer than Allah? Think carefully.
