It saddens me. Although he was with DAP, I looked up at him as a great politician, how he added colors to Malaysian politics. My sympathy and condolence to his family. |
'Shut down PDRM!' Posted: 16 Apr 2014 11:09 AM PDT DAP's P Ramasamy should burn down his house if one of the walls crack. And if the Penang deputy chief minister owns a rubber tree estate, I believe he will chop each and every tree if he finds one which is not productive. This is the kind of mentality he has. So pathetic! How could a Malaysian politician ask for the 'shutting down' of Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) over a custody dispute involving a Hindu woman and her Muslim convert ex-husband? Did he realise that the authority was trying to sort out the problem as both courts - Seremban High Court and the Syariah Court - gave equal right to both of them, respectively? It wouldn't be nice to label Ramasamy as a 'racist' but he only cared for the rights of the mother and not the father, who is a Muslim. And for that reason, he got the chick to label Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar as 'thugs'! What is he? 'Kepala gangster?' Seeing red with the men in blue, Penang Deputy Chief Minister P Ramasamy has suggested that the police department be closed down.
"If the police cannot protect the victim, they might as well shut down the police department," Ramasamy told a press conference today. The DAP leader was responding to Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar's justification of police inaction in the custody dispute involving a Hindu woman and her Muslim convert ex-husband. S Deepa was granted custody of her two children by the Seremban High Court last Monday. But two days later, her ex-husband Izwan Abdullah snatched their six-year-old son and allegedly assaulted the 30-year-old clerk when she attempted to stop him from driving away. Despite a police report being lodged, Khalid said no action would be taken because the syariah court had granted Izwan custody as well. Ramasamy also took Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to task for defending the police chief over this matter.
Grow up, please, and be a true Malaysian politician! There must be a legal solution to the 'family matter', unless Rama wants to turn it into a 'religious fury'. And who is he to say Zahid and Khalid were unfit for their posts when he himself is a 'lousy politician' for failing to help Penang Indians uplift their living standard! If Zahid and Khalid were 'thugs' for allowing cases of custodial deaths to continue, he himself is a 'coward Indian leader' for failing his own people! . The death of laborer Murugan Muniandy, 37, at the Seberang Jaya Hospital on April 13 is regretted (our condolence and sympathy for his family) but Rama's allegations that the the police was behind it, is more regrettable because investigation was still in progress."We respect the police and we want to work closely with the force but we cannot tolerate deaths in custody, we want those responsible to be hauled up for action. "Those who die in custody are often the poor and marginalised, whose families have no one to turn to and have no proper safety net or protection," Ramasamy added. Please check your tongue! You wanted PDRM to close down but now you said you wanted to work closely with them. How many tongues have you got? |
