Tanjung vs. Permatang Pauh REVISITED

Posted: 09 Oct 2012 06:00 AM PDT

GelagatAnwar-Speech by  Parliamentary Opposition Leader, DAP Secretary-General and MP for  Tanjong, Lim Kit Siang, in the Dewan Rakyat (Malaysian Parliament) on  the Royal Address debate on Monday, April 11, 1994

Bank Negara's forex losses in the past two years could total as high as RM30 billion, making it the biggest financial scandal in Malaysia as well as a world-class financial scandal.

There was in fact a conspiracy of disinformation and misinformation to 'cover up' the real nature, cause and magnitude of Bank Negara forex losses in the past two years which I will show in the course of my speech could  total as high as RM30 billion. It is not only the greatest financial  scandal in Malaysia, but has reached the standing to be a world-class  financial scandal!

  • In the special  DAP motion on the Bank Negara forex losses in Parliament last April, the Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim strenuously denied that Bank Negara had "speculated" or "gambled" in foreign exchange.
  • Anwar said that as Finance Minister, he was "fully satisfied with the  reasons" goven by Tan Sri Jaffar Hussein for the Bank Negara's forex  losses.

However, truth cannot be concealed forever, as it would always find some way of declaring itself.

  • There are two other reasons why Anwar Ibrahim must bear personal responsibility for Bank Negara's forex losses.
  • Anwar Ibrahim said last week that he had directed Bank Negara to stop forward foreign exchange trading when he discovered its forex losses 18 months  ago. If Bank Negara had followed his instructions to stop forward forex  trading in 1992, then how could Bank Negara suffer RM5.7 billion losses  in 1993, on top of the RM10.1 billion to RM13.1 billion losses in 1992?
  • Furthermore, Anwar Ibrahim had misled Parliament last July when I questioned him  whether Bank Negara had suffered more forex losses. Anwar said that this was not true as he had been monitoring the Bank Negara's forex dealings weekly.
  • On July 19, 1993, I asked  Anwar Ibrahim a supplementary question during question time as to  whether at that date, Bank Negara's provision of Rm2.7 billion  contingent liability for forward forex trading in the 1992 Bank Negara  accounts had not only been confirmed, but even more forex losses had  been incurred.

This is Anwar's reply, from the Hansard of 19th July 1993(p. 28):
  • If Anwar Ibrahim claims that he had directed  Bank Negara to stop forward forex trading 18 months ago, and that "there are no new trading arrangements" last year as the central bank unwound  its forward positions in the market last year (Business Times April 6,  1994), then Bank Negara should not have incurred RM5.7 billion when its  contingent liability provision for such forward forex trading in end- 1992 was RM2.7 billion.
  • Anwar's  claim that there were no new forward forex trading by Bank Negara in  1993 had been contradicted by Tan Sri Jaffar Hussein, who said in his  press conference on March 31 as well in his foreword to the 1993 Bank  Negara report:

Tun M : Soros using NGOs to effect regime change

Posted: 09 Oct 2012 01:35 AM PDT

WHEN I was away, Malaysiakini was busy trying to legitimise their receiving money from George Soros because I invited him to join the campaign to make war a crime.

Receiving money from Soros and an invitation to make war a crime are two different things. In no way can one justify the other.

I only wrote to Soros after he admitted that I was not wrong in my criticisms of currency trading. Some people may remember that he said I was a menace to my country. By saying that the currency control Malaysia imposed to counter the effects of currency trading was the right thing to do, he was clearly admitting that I was right and was, therefore, not a menace to my country. Obviously, I would not have anything to do with him if he had continued to regard me as a menace to my country.

My letter inviting him to join the campaign to make war a crime was prompted by his financing of the campaign to prevent president George W. Bush from winning a second term. Bush is a warmonger and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and 6,000 American soldiers in the war against Iraq.

I thought Soros' opposition to Bush was because he did not like war. But he replied to my invitation to work towards making war a crime by explaining that people had been fighting wars for 7,000 years and, therefore, war is a means of settling conflicts. Malaysiakini is quite right in surmising that his answer was in the negative.

I was not surprised. Obviously, he was not against killing people in war. Nor I presume did he care for the massive destruction and sufferings caused by war.
I did meet him when he came here, but we agreed to disagree. He still maintained that currency trading is right and proper. We did not bury any hatchet. I was being civil as I am a Malaysian — and nothing more. So digging up hatchets does not arise.

According to Richard Miniter writing in Forbes, Soros is conducting his own foreign policy which may or may not be identical with US foreign policy. Soros believes he can use his money to set up governments which are pro-Soros or his ideals. Impoverishing countries and peoples matters little to him. Famously, he was quoted as saying in reply to his role in the 1997 East Asian currency crash, "As a market participant, I don't need to be concerned with the consequences of my actions".
Miniter quoted the following from Britain's New Statesman: "In 1984 (Soros) founded his first Open Society Institute in Hungary and pumped millions of dollars into opposition movements and independent media.

Ostensibly aimed at building up a 'civil society', these initiatives were designed to weaken the existing political structures and pave way for eastern Europe's eventual colonisation by global capital."

Some may remember Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's fondness for "civil society" when he was in the government. He still talks about civil society now. The similarity of ideas between the two, Soros and Anwar, is significant.

Miniter went on to describe events in Georgia, where Alexander Lomaia, who went from running Soros' Open Society Georgia Foundation to become minister of education and science and later secretary of Georgia's Security Council.

Georgia's opposition Labour Party leader, Shalva Natelashvili, contends that, "Effectively, George Soros is the president of Georgia, whereas (President) Saakashvili and (Prime Minister) Zurab Zhvania are his governors. Soros' foundation nominated nine ministers of the Georgian government, and all of them were appointed". And Soros claims to be promoting democracy.

His supporters here also claim to be fighting for democracy while being led by an unelected leader who in turn appointed members of his family and cronies to various leadership posts.

Miniter quoted Ercis Kurtulus, head of Turkey's Social Transparency Movement Association as saying, "Soros carried out his will in Ukraine and Georgia by using these NGOs…"

So why is Soros financing Malaysiakini, a Malaysian non-governmental organisation. Obviously, it is in order to achieve regime change, to put his nominees as prime minister and ministers in the Malaysian government. What will such a government do if not to carry out Soros' wishes.

When inviting him to join the campaign to make war a crime, I was not talking about Malaysian politics. Certainly, I did not ask for nor did he give to the Perdana Global Peace Foundation any money. This campaign to make war a crime is for the good of all humanity — not just of Malaysia.
But he was quite unequivocally against making war a crime.

My view of Soros is that he is still a rogue currency trader and he compounds this evil by using the money to put his kind of people to rule the countries targeted by him. And Malaysia obviously is one of his targets.

Equally obvious, he regards Malaysiakini as the NGO to manipulate in order to achieve his objective.
There are of course other foreign NGOs and governments manipulating Malaysia's opposition for their interest.

A vote for the opposition, is a vote for Soros, the rogue currency trader.

It certainly will not be for Malaysia and its interests. If there are Malaysians who wish to be re-colonised it is their choice. But I believe Malaysians would not want to be stooges of foreigners – NST

French Prosecutor Confirmed Malaysian Opposition's Lies

Posted: 08 Oct 2012 11:35 PM PDT

SUARAM, an NGO which is led by Malaysian opposition and funded by Zionist and Soros has been revealed to be lying again and again in the issue of Scorpene. Despite of all that, they still refuse to admit their lies and they kept on playing with their game.

Perhaps because the fund which they are receiving is simply too much, so SUARAM a.k.a the opposition do not have any other choice but to keep on acting with hope that the government of Malaysia would finally fall.

But, with statement made by famous French prosecutor, Yves Charpenel which was released yesterday, saying that there was no trial regarding Scorpene in France and the only thing that is happening is trials made by Malaysian opposition media, is seen as the end to SUARAM's chain of lies.

Charpenel also repeated government's previous statement that what happened was that two independent 'investigative judges' has been investigating this issue since earlier this year based on complaints made by SUARAM. This is because according to the law, all complaints should be given serious attention and investigation in closed and private manner.

However, the investigative judges do not have the rights to investigate nor interrogate people from across the border without getting any permission from the country's government to respect the Mutual Legal Assistance Agreement which is held by all countries in the world.

That is why, for SUARAM and opposition to say that the trial is going on and a few people would be given subpoenas and submarine documents in French language would be revealed as part of the evidence, showed how low the moral value among SUARAM supporters really are.

In line with attitude of Zionist and Soros, SUARAM had shown that they do not respect any government in the world including Malaysia and France. Not just that they are tarnishing the image of Malaysian government, they are even toying around with the French government.

In order to ruin Malaysian government, SUARAM pictured court of France for not being transparent for leaking investigation's information including evidences to them which they them showed to the public. SUARAM also pictured French police as an organization that is not efficient enough as they could not detect the entrance of Altantuya during the whole business transaction period.

And now, SUARAM and Malaysian opposition refuses to admit that everything is over. Instead, Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia's Opposition Leader had brought in French lawyer, William Bourdon to provide statement on behalf of SUARAM in the issue of receiving foreign funds. Bourdon's arrival should have been paid and it sure was huge, as he is the famous lawyer who defends George Soros.
In a way, opposition's move in bringing Bourdon to assist SUARAM and Malaysian opposition only strengthen the fact that SUARAM and Malaysian opposition do not fight for human rights nor rakyat. Instead, they are on the move to implement the mission of 'regime exchange' in Malaysia for the sake of Soros and Jews by lying, with no limit.

Dr Haron Din Sahkan Anwar Islam Liberal

Posted: 08 Oct 2012 08:28 PM PDT

Sharifudin Jamil AIDC – Rumusan Timbalan Mursyidul Am PAS, Datuk Dr Haron Din mengenai caragaya politik Anwar Ibrahim amat serius.

The Past and Future of Pakistan.
