Ambiga To Aussie Foreign Minister : "Ridiculous" Posted: 14 Oct 2012 02:59 AM PDT There is an interesting story at Barking Magpie's Blog. Our local dunggu Ambiga went to Australia to drum up support for her crap cause. They interviewed her on radio or something. She is asking the Australian gomen to send observers over to watch our elections. She does not know when the elections will be held so she has asked the Aussies to come over right now, today. And do what? Chill their heels at the Hard Rock Cafe while waiting for the elections? Who will pay for their beer? Lim Guan Eng? Or maybe PAS? How stupid can she get? Dont believe me? Please go to Barking Magpie here and listen to the audio recording yourself. The Australians have also seen through Ambiga's bullshit. Bob Carr the Australian Foreign Minister has pointed out the fact that if the elections in Malaysia were not fair, the ruling party (the BN) WOULD NOT have lost their 2/3 majority in Parliament or lost the five States in 2008. And what was Ambiga's reply to Bob Carr? "Ridiculous". That is exactly what she said. Listen to the audio recording. She went to Australia to ask for their help. When the Aussie Foreign Minister raises a simple point of clarification (that was what it was) she calls the Aussie Foreign Minister "ridiculous". Malulah. This whole damn lot are just one huge group of kurang ajar morons. Folks I met a DAP fellow the other day, well ex-DAP now (by his own choice). This guy was in the newspapers not too long ago. So we asked him about that China Doll tape. 'Have you seen it? What do you DAP guys on the ground think about it?" His answer, 'Its him. Confirm its him. We all know its him. No mistake one'. So they all know it is the Anugerah Tuhan fellow in that tape. They have no doubts. But they want to win the elections. So they will go along with the lie that it was not him in the tape. Its just another lie. But who cares? Its all about the vote. The Aussies have seen the tape as well. They know he is pulling a fast one. They are all pulling a fast one. This crap about the elections is just more crap from these morons. Hence the Australian Foreign Minister's retort to Ambiga. Padan muka. Folks they are now planning another demonstration - this time they are using a music concert as camouflage, to be held in a stadium. Here is a song they will be playing just for Ambiga. Do read the lyrics. Does seem to suit the dunggu. Its hard rock. Turn up the sound as well. |
Posted: 13 Oct 2012 09:12 PM PDT I spent a couple of days in Singapore recently. This would be my first visit after they became the wealthiest nation (per capita GDP) on earth. First of all Singapore is greener than ever. Here are a couple of street scapes in the city centre. For a thoroughly urbanised environment they pay very close attention to planting trees and greens all over the island. It does help to cool the city, which I believe feels a couple of degrees cooler than Kuala Lumpur. On the way down (there were four of us in the car) an argument of sorts developed when we wanted to stop at Machap in Johor for a quick drink. One person insisted we should bypass Machap because it was infested with flies. The other three prevailed and we stopped at Machap. It was infested with flies. So flies became an issue over the rest of the day. In Singapore we noted that there were no flies on the island. How do they do it? Well there was no trash anywhere. There were no open or uncovered drains. There were no food hawkers by the road side. There are many hawkers in Singapore but they are inside, in the food courts. So there was very little reason for flies to spread. All their flies have been exported to Johor. Singapore is becoming increasingly expensive for Malaysians. I am now among the generation which recalls the Malaysian Ringgit at par with the Singapore Dollar. It was one Ringgit for one Dollar. That was as late as 1985. Now it is RM2.50 per Singapore Dollar. Downtown Singapore has more brand name boutiques and shops than department stores and "no name" shops. Only large turnovers can justify the high rental rates for space. Still Singapore is not killer expensive - a good meal of Nasi Padang is only about six Singapore dollars (RM15.00). Compared to this, a basic nasi bungkus in KL is about RM6.00 while a nasi beriyani can start at RM11.00 per serving (no guarantee no sakit perut). I also saw this Singapore tailor offering his services (along Orchard Road) : In Wisma Yakin here in KL, tailoring charges for shirts begin at RM90.00 and pants can start at RM120.00. Even at RM2.50 to the Singapore Dollar. I think Orchard Road is cheaper. Singapore is visited by the wealthy from around South East Asia - plenty of Brunei folks around (their Dollar is also at par with the Singapore Dollar). There are others too - including from Malaysia. Here is a Rolls Royce Ghost with Malaysian registration plates parked outside a hotel. We attended an investment seminar hosted by one of the banks on the island. A well known American financial guru gave a long and informative talk about economic trends in the present and going into the future. There is a great future folks, believe me. Its called China (and maybe Indonesia, Vietnam and India as well). The American guy highlighted many countries. Sadly Malaysia was not mentioned at all - we have slipped under the radar. Interestingly the young woman who handles the Malaysian desk at the bank is a Malay girl who originates from our Pantai Timur (not Kelantan). She worked in Kuala Lumpur, got tired and moved to Singapore some years ago. She is now among the top managers at this bank. There were other senior managers we met who spoke Malay - because they are all Malaysians!! They report to a Singaporean boss who runs the investment division - he was a Singapore Malay guy. The next day we were having coffee at this new 'happening' place in Singapore called Paul. The lemon tart here (thats what I thought it was) was good, kurang manis. It is a 'halal' patisserie (bakeshop) set up by a French guy married to a Malaysian woman (so we were told). Thaksin Shinawatra has visited this place so maybe it is also notorious. As we were having coffee this young man in the picture came up and spoke to us. He is the Operations Director of the company for South East Asia. Not surprisingly he is also a Malaysian. He told us that they have outlets in Indonesia and elsewhere. They are planning two outlets in KL in 2014. Lets say Selamat Datang to Paul. Well Singapore is now the wealthiest nation (per capita) on the face of the earth. There is little doubt that the place is run by Malaysians. Malaysia Boleh. If we can do it for Singapore, surely we can do a better job here at home. Kalau nak buat lawatan sambil belajar, pi lah ke Singapura. Our guys and girls are doing a swell job over there. Finally, here is the interior of that Rolls Royce, obeying all the traffic rules in Singapore. |
Propriety And "Khalifah" Lim Guan Eng Posted: 13 Oct 2012 05:18 PM PDT My ex classmate Lim Guan Eng is certainly none too good at dispelling the rumour mongering about his acquaintances. There is an English word called propriety. Here is the dictionary definition : pro·pri·e·ty [pruh-prahy-i-tee] noun, plural pro·pri·e·ties. 1. conformity to established standards of good or proper behavior or manners. 2. appropriateness to the purpose or circumstances; suitability. 3. rightness or justness. 4. the proprieties, the conventional standards of proper behavior; manners: to observe the proprieties. I like No. 2 - appropriateness to the purpose or circumstances, suitability. When you hold public office or if you are a public personality then you have no choice but pay attention to the propriety or appropriateness of what you do in the public eye. Here are some new pictures of Guan Eng that are going around the net. I first got this from Stop The Lies Blog here. Guan Eng is seen here swigging a beer with a pretty lass. The Blogs say her name is Miss Lin Chi Ling. Miss Lin is a Taiwanese model and actress. . The Chinese forums and discussion groups are going into overdrive about Guan Eng appearing with Miss Lin. An example is Lowyat.net here. They have videos and images of the charming Miss Lin showing off some of her charms as well. Tambah lagi, this is a Malay majority country where Malays profess Islam as their religion. In Penang, Guan Eng is also Chief Minister of about a million Muslims. He is not the Chief Minister of beer drinking Chinese only (meaning there are also Chinese who do not drink beer or alchohol). So where is Guan Eng's sensitivity towards his Muslim voters who may not feel too happy seeing their DAP hero having a beer in the public eye with a Taiwanese model and actress? Guan Eng tak peduli ke? Going by Guan Eng's body language in the picture, he probably had his mind on the full bodied beer. Yam Seng bro. |
