| Malaysia Chronicle and its jungle people Posted: 10 Oct 2012 07:29 PM PDT I don't know who this Hj Sobey Hj Daud is but he is perhaps the only Malaysian still living in a cave and uses stones to start his fire to cook the wild boars and other animals that he catches for meal. Whoever he is, his calculation does not reflect him as a wise person. A kindergarten kid is able to understand simple math better than him.  And for Malaysia Chronicle to share his shallow mind shows the stupidity of its entire editorial staff to comprehend what actually BR1M is. I am not surprise if MC carries a story about a cow swallowing a buffalo next because to them, everything carries at least some logic. This Sobey pasted on a Facebook that Malaysians is not worth a penny under Barisan Nasional. He does not understand simple economics. BR1M is just another measure to help the rakyat, eases their burden and ensures that each and everyone of them gets the taste of the national wealth. However, Sobey and MC are too naive to take into account other factors before summing up their thought. Since Merdeka, the government keeps on building roads, schools, houses and providing them with utilities such as electricity and water. Not forgetting other services and facilities, and subsidy for a lot of things. I wonder if Sobey and MC staff have a family. How much is each and every single kid they have worth after taking into calculation the maternity cost, milk, napkin, food, education and other expenses to raise them up? And how does Sobey and MC value every citizen of the US, UK, Singapore, Japan and others? Or Sobey and MC expect each and every child is born to a world of free of everything. If they can name any country that practices such a heavenly policy, I will learn math from them! Opppss... maybe this has something to do with Pakatan Rakyat's 'Negara Kebajikan' - government to provide everything for free, from A to Z, that the rakyat don't have to worry about anything. All that they need to do is call any of PR welfare agents and they will rush whatever you need to your home, including rice, sugar... and condoms!   |
