Israeli's Spill US Strike Plan Posted: 06 Aug 2012 10:26 PM PDT You can read more here.
OK lets read between the lines. The Israelis have absolutely no faith in Obama. This news came out two days ago on 5th August 2012. This is a major insult to Obama. It is serious egg in the face. Obama sends his Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to Israel with confidential information about the Iran Strike Plan and the Israelis leak the information to the Media. A US strike against Iran will benefit Israel more than anyone else. Yet the Israelis are willing to crap on Obama's strike plan. What does this mean? The Israelis can live without the US Strike Plan. They are confident of their own Strike Plan. Thats what it means. It also means that Obama could lose the November elections to war-monger Mitt Romney. A lot of talk has been focussed on the Israeli airforce bearing the brunt of an attack against Iran. Analysts have spoken about the difficulty of the Israeli airforce carrying out such a long range mission (1500 km) flying over up to five different countries before reaching targets in Iran. Their planes would need to refuel midair and they must evade radar and hostile action. It is possible that the Israelis may not depend entirely on their Airforce. Their Airforce may only play a supplemental role. The Israelis do have advanced ballistic missile and cruise missile capability that can do the job just as well. More importantly the Israelis have developed launch platforms that can get those missiles to their targets. These include German made Dolphin class submarines and fighter planes that can launch cruise missiles far from the target. Reports say that "In May 2000 Israel secretly carried out test launches of cruise missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads from two German-built Dolphin-class submarines. The missiles launched from vessels off Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean hit a target at a range of about 1,500 kilometers [about 930 statute miles]. " Folks, that was 12 years ago !! The Israelis have extended the range of the mobile launched Jericho II missile to become the Jericho III with a range up to 6500 km. These are land based missiles that can carry conventional or nuclear weapons. Analysts say that about 40 - 42 Jericho IIIs can destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities at Natanz / Qom, Arak, Isfahan and Bushehr. Here is a picture of a Jericho III missile. Israel has also developed an air-launched turbo jet powered cruise missile called the Popeye Turbo with a range between 200 km and 350 km. Another smaller variant the Popeye II, with more advanced technology has a range of 150 kilometers. These missiles can be launched from Israel (Jericho III) or launched from submarines far from their targets. The aircraft borne cruise missiles can also be launched hundreds of kilometres from their targets. This avoids the risks of flying the Airforce long distances over hostile terrain, requiring midair refueling and such. The Israelis also have a permanent deployment of a submarine squadron (up to three Dolphin class boats) inside the Persisn Gulf. You can click on the image here to enlarge the graphic. If they attack Iran, the price of oil may hit USD200 per barrel - but for a very short time only. There is an overcapacity in world oil supplies. |

Thats the latest from Syria. A couple of points. The Syrian Prime Minister escaped with his entire extended family across the border to Jordan. That has to be a lot of people. Meaning there was careful planning and logistics - all done under secrecy. Many people must have been involved. For such an operation to succeed undetected it means that there are too many people around Bashar Assad and the Government who are working against him. The collapse of the Syrian regime will not be entirely by a force of arms. Eventually people will just desert the Government. Especialli if more soldiers leave the army, the regime will collapse. Tanks and artillery are quite useless in close quarters urban battles. For that you need manpower and small arms - both of which the rebels have aplenty. Finally the rebels say the 'kidnapping' of the 40 Iranian "religious tourists" shows direct Iranian interference inside Syria. Who wants to visit Syria when there is a shooting war going on? This is just more trouble caused by silly religious beliefs. My pet unicorn is better than your pet unicorn. |
Posted: 06 Aug 2012 07:15 AM PDT I hope the Police and the internal security people look into this. I received this sms just now. "Salam Tuan Syed. Terbaca blog u pasal Rohingya. FYI, tadi ada orang Myanmar mati kena sembelih di Kg Melayu Ampang. Tengah ramai Polis dan orang kat sana. Depan LRT Ampang. 3 hari lepas peserta demo Rohingya yang Ch*gub@$d bawak serang orang Burma di KL. Usaha melaga2 kan Myanmar sedang berlaku dengan dasyat dan ada sumber cakap pembangkang sedang ambil kesempatan! Kalau ada orang Myanmar / Rohingya minta sedekah atas nama Rohingya or Myanmar, please inform me coz dah lama ujud tabung "ala memali" yg ambil kesempatan atas nama Rohingya. La ni lagi dasyat. Semua orang nak kutip. Jangan terkejut kalau yang buat benda ini adalah lebai2 pembangkang. Coz Perkim dah lama bantu golongan ini dI Malaysia. Ada few of them saja yang ikut pembangkang dan jadi keldai untuk huru harakan Malaysia. Game AI." I received this from a Blogger friend. I checked with a friend who works with Rohingya NGOs and he said that there may be two more recent cases around the Selayang area where Myanmars were attacked (many Myanmars live and work in that area). Jangan pula orang kita yang involved in attacking the Myanmars. I hope the Police can nip this in the bud. We have to show a better example. There are tens of thousands of Muslim Rohingyas and Buddhist Myanmars in Malaysia. If they all start going at each other we may not be able to control them. I hope no one takes advantage of the situation for their own political heroics. The Police should advise ALL political parties from getting involved in what are obviously "Made in Myanmar" troubles. Benda ini tak ada kena-mengena dengan kita so why get worked up? The NGOs that are involved should not take sides. Rather they should advice the Myanmars here to live in peace - just go about their work and enjoy the fruits of their labours in Malaysia. Negara sendiri tak ada peluang hidup, terpaksa hijrah ke Malaysia. Takkan dah sampai sini pun masih nak gaduh. Hishamuddin Hussein please wake up. Ini semua you punya pasal - sleeping on the job and letting so many strange folks waltz into the country. |
