| Ambiga Amburger : Tahniah Kpd IKHLAS, Veteran Tentera & Perkasa Pulau Pinang Posted: 15 May 2012 01:01 AM PDT Bagi pihak semua peniaga di kawasan Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Masjid India di Kuala Lumpur dan juga berpuluh ribu warga kota yang terpaksa mengalami kesesakan trafik selama lebih seminggu (sejak protes anti-PTPTN hingga ke protes kotor oleh Bersih 3.0) saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih dan tahniah kepada ahli IKHLAS (NGO yang mewakili nasib para peniaga kecil), Veteran Tentera dan juga kepada Perkasa Pulau Pinang yang telah mengambil tindakan mengadakan protes balas secara aman dan tertib di hadapan rumah Ambiga di Jalan Setiakasih, Bukit Damansara pada 28hb April dulu dan juga di hadapan rumah Lim Guan Eng di Jalan Pinhorn di Pulau Pinang. Ribuan terima kasih diucapkan. Saya ingin mencadangkan kepada sahabat-sahabat IKHLAS, Perkasa dan Veteran Tentera untuk mengadakan protes secara aman ini setiap hari di hadapan rumah Ambiga, rumah Lim Guan Eng, di persimpangan lima di "Craven A" di Pulau Pinang dan juga atas Jambatan Pulau Pinang, sehinggalah Ambiga dan Lim Guan Eng meminta maaf secara terbuka atas kerosakan dan kerugian yang mereka berdua ini telah mencetuskan dengan permainan patung mereka. Biarlah mereka pun merasa sedikit kerugian dan gangguan dalam jadual harian mereka akibat daripada 'peaceful protest' yang mereka sangat suka itu. Sekali lagi saya minta para sahabat mengadakan protes secara aman ini pada setiap hari di hadapan rumah Ambiga di Bukit Damansara, di hadapan rumah Lim Guan Eng di Jalan Pinhorn, Pulau Pinang, di persimpangan Craven A di Pulau Pinang dan juga di atas jambatan Pulau Pinang. Protes aman di persimpangan Craven A tidak perlu Permit Polis sekiranya saudara sekalian mengadakan protes aman sewaktu makan tengah hari (lunch time antara 12pm - 2pm) dan berkumpul dalam restoran-restoran nasi kandar di lokasi berkenaan. Berkumpul secara aman dalam restoran nasi kandar pada waktu lunch time tidak perlukan Permit Polis. Protes atas jambatan Pulau Pinang mungkin perlukan Permit Polis. Tapi jika saudara sekalian tidak mahu peduli akan Permit Polis atau tidak mahu menghormati Polis, boleh lah merujuk kepada Ambiga atau Lim Guan Eng dulu. Mereka berdua ini adalah pakar dunia dalam isu tidak menghormati Polis atau Permit Polis. Semoga Veteran Tentera, Perkasa dan IKHLAS boleh mengadakan acara senaman secara aman, menjual burger secara aman dan mungkin acara lain secara aman untuk membantah keganasan dan tindakan haram Bersih 3.0 yang telah mengganggu keamanan dan ketenteraman bandaraya Kuala Lumpur selama lebih seminggu. Ramai warga kota Kuala Lumpur dan peniaga mengalami kerugian kewangan, kerugian masa dan kerugian duit minyak berakibat daripada perbuatan melanggar undang-undang dan tidak mahu menghormati undang-undang yang kian menjadi tabiat penyokong pembangkang dan perusuh Bersih. Yes Ambiga, they know where you live. Some text from Yahoo News : A group of retired armed forces personnel held 'butt exercises' in front of the residence of Bersih co-chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan in Bukit Damansara early this morning. The participants, who claimed to be members of the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association(PVTM), said the event was held to protest against Ambiga for being an "enemy of the nation who had smeared the country's name". On May 10, a 'burger protest' was also held in front of Ambiga's house by a group of traders who claimed to have suffered losses due to last month's Bersih 3.0 rally. Today's 'butt exercises', which took place at 8.30am, is the second demonstration to be held in front of the Bersih co-chairperson's house in a week. "We armed forces veterans have the right to protest against an 'enemy' who tried to smear the nation's name," said group president Mohd Ali Baharom. "We are giving a stern warning to Ambiga to immediately apologise to the Malaysian people regarding Bersih and free sex," said Mohd Ali before the exercise session began." Here is some text from them : Protes Bersih: Senaman gelek punggung depan rumah Ambiga pula… Last Thursday, the IKHLAS an NGO which represents the hawkers and small traders held another very, very peaceful protest in front of Ambiga's house in Jalan Setiakasih, Bukit Damansara. They set up an Amburger Strall in front of Ambiga's house. Here is the picture from The Star. They even gave Ambiga a free amburger - a chicken amburger, but Ambiga turned chicken and stuck to vegetarian.  The Star also reported : "They also hung a burger on the gate of her house, which was removed by her bodyguard. Ambiga told the traders to file their claim for the losses suffered in court instead of holding protests outside her house. "This is a troubling new phenomenon and a violation of my privacy. Bersih is not about me," said the former Bar Council chairman. Ambiga later lodged a police report at the Travers police station." Ambiga is talking rubbish again. Then why didnt Ambiga ask the Bersih dunggus to go to Court as well instead of running riot in Kuala Lumpur which caused everyone so much loss? Violation of privacy my @$$. What about violating our right to carry on our lives peacefully? For almost 10 days, ever since the anti-PTPTN protests which finally culminated in the Bersih riots, all of us businesses in this area had to suffer losses. Our businesses had to close that Saturday - the busiest trading day for us - just because Ambiga's hoodlums wanted to run riot in the streets. Now, when these senior veterans protest peacefully in front of her house she says they are violating her privacy ! ! I dont know if these lawyers are born hypocrites or they just grow into the hypocrisy. And all this hypocrisy to bolster Bapa Rasuah Malaysia and Pencipta Politik Wang Malaysia? Plus Ambiga made a Police report !! I thought she does not trust the Police? I thought she does not give a hoot about Police Permits and such. Now she makes a Police Report pula. Also last week the Perkasa boys protested in front of Lim Guan Eng's house. Taking the cue from the Pakatan dunggus who put funeral garlands on a picture of the Prime Minister, the Perkasa boys also hung a funeral garland on Guan Eng's picture. The only difference is they hung the funeral garland on Guan Eng's front gate. This is really very bad luck Guan Eng. Here is the picture :   |

While people are working hard to move Malaysia to VLCCs, ULCCs and world scale petrochemical industries in Pengerang, the satans are still arguing about their hellish visions for this country.   |
| Part 2 – Pengerang : A Savvy MB And A Visionary Dreamer Posted: 14 May 2012 03:30 AM PDT Petronas has announced that they will be setting up an 300,000 barrels per day capacity refinery at the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex. They will also be building two more petrochemical plants whose feedstock will also come from the oil refinery. It is most likely that a Taiwanese company will also be investing more money to build another 400,000 barrel per day refinery. Plus the tank farm I described yesterday all these projects will take the investments in Pengerang to over RM100.0 billion already. Petronas' refinery plus the petrochem plants will make Pengerang the petrochemical and petroleum hub of South East Asia. And we will overtake Singapore in certain products. Its all because of land – they don't have land. This entire project in Pengerang is feasible because of one very large ingredient – the deep water berthing at this spot. The water depth is 24 metres which can take in VLCC tankers (Very Large Crude Carriers) as well as ULCC tankers (Ultra Large Crude Carriers). VLCCs are in the 160,000 to 220,000 250,000 ton range whereas ULCCs are in the 320,000 – 550,000 tons range, floating steel mammoths. Here is a picture of an ULCC tanker : which weighs 441,000 tons and is 1,247 feet long. This is a monster.  Folks this is the 21stcentury. There are 7 billion people in this world and the number is growing. The world's population will definitely stabilize and we will all live in balance with nature and with ourselves. A 7 billion world population will require huge amounts of products – fuel, petrochemicals, plastics, food and stuff to maintain modern life. So put your best foot forward and educate our kids well. The future is simply great. Do not despair. These industries have to build big. They must have the economies of scale. VLCCs, ULCCs, 22,500 acres of petrochemical plants, 500 acres of tank farms will be basic facilities to meet this huge demand from a 7 billion world population. Deep water berths to receive all these VLCCs and ULCCs are not man made. They are naturally occurring. The Creation made them. Singapore only has 18 metre berths – a drawback to attract ULCCs. This is where Pengerang makes the difference. Dr Ngau Boon Keat, the Executive Chairman and founder of Dialog is an oil man with over 40 years experience. He has experience working in Petronas since its early days as well. Since 1984 he has built his company Dialog Bhd into a significant player in the oil and gas business. They build tank farms.  Dr Ngau had a dream and a vision. Six years ago, he had a one and half hour lunch with Dato Ghani Othman the MB of Johor. In that lunch he explained how his team had surveyed the Malaysian coastline and discovered that Pengerang had the best natural sites to host a deepwater terminal, a tank farm and hence provide many competitive advantages to incubate an entire petrochemical industry. The numbers were huge – RM100 billion investment, 300,000 barrels per day refineries, 5 million cubic metre tank storage capacities, 6000 acres for Petronas' petrochemicals (RAPID) and so forth. Plus Singapore was right next door. They would compete in some places but also complement Singapore in many other areas. The savvy MB, being a trained economist immediately grasped the significance and hugeness of the entire concept. Six years later Pengerang is moving.  Folks, 20 years ago as a banker I helped finance the Kemaman Supply Base in Terengganu. This was a supply base from where supply ships would transport materials (steel pipes, diamond tipped drills to the oil rigs in the South China Sea), We used to visit Kemaman – a beautiful natural port in Terengganu, just across the border from Pahang. The sea water in Kemaman is a thick royal blue right up to the jetty – under your feet. Today, if you visit Kemaman there are traffic jams, strip malls, shopping complexes, housing, office complexes and (unfortunately) traffic jams. Kemaman is also cosmopolitan now – people from all over the world live and work in Kemaman. (And all the way to Kerteh as well). The same changes are going to impact Pengerang. Kemajuan is coming - in huge doses. The Pengerang project will be larger than Kerteh, Gebeng and Melaka (Petronas Refinery) combined. So do watch this space. I have one more instalment on Pengerang.
