Spying on Americans

Posted: 21 Jan 2014 09:16 PM PST

Spy and espionage. Almost all countries are at it.

No big deal when the Aussies spied on Indonesia, Singapore tailed our backside or the US tapped telephone calls of at least 35 world leaders.

The Americans are feeling the heat more. Their government spies on them!

'Stupid AG!'

Former MCA president Tun Ling Liong Sik yesterday said the Attorney General was 'stupid' to have dragged him to court over the purchase of a piece of land for the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) project, for which he was later acquitted.

Dr Ling, a former transport minister, said the Cabinet had made the right decision in buying the land.

"It is only the Attorney General who thinks it was a wrong decision. Stupid fellow," he told a press conference in Kajang.

I really tickles me. Now that our politics allow abusive and profanity words be used by everybody, I guess it was not wrong for Dr Ling to call Gani Patail 'stupid'. After all, not every smart guy deserves to be called a genius.

Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail brought charges against Dr Ling and another former transport minister, Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy, for cheating the government over the PKFZ project. Both were later acquitted.
Dr Ling, who was transport minister from 1986 to 2003, said that to date, the PKFZ land price had already shot up and looking back, it was a profitable venture.
"The land was sold to PKFZ at RM21 per square foot (psf) and that was the sale price. Today it is worth between RM70 and RM80 psf. That's already a profit," he said.
Ling also urged the media to interview the PKFZ management on how well it was doing today.
This is Ling's second stinging attack on Gani in a week.
Dr Ling in an interview with a Chinese daily last week accused the Attorney General's Chambers of looking down on the country's Chinese leaders, who have contributed to the economic development of the nation.
The former MCA president said he has tried to get over his ordeal, which he described as "wrongful prosecution", but admitted that he had lost confidence in the judicial system.
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who testified for Dr Ling, had told the court that he was not cheated.
Dr Ling said when Dr Mahathir testified he had not been cheated, the prosecution should have dropped the case.
In October, Dr Ling was acquitted of deceiving the cabinet by failing to disclose an additional interest rate of 7.5% to the purchase price of RM25psf in the PKFZ deal, despite knowing that the interest rate was included in the price.
Yeah man! Nothing's wrong with that. Even PM Najib himself can't escape the 'kangkung', 'coward' and 'takut bini' labellings.

There are also 'menteri ayam', 'menteri amaran dalam negeri' and other names for a few Cabinet ministers. The opposition also, especially Anwar Ibrahim were 'awarded' with few names such as 'Anwar al-Jubori' and 'chameleon'.

So, its really okay... I guess!
