"PM bodoh!"

Posted: 10 Oct 2013 06:33 PM PDT

Alamak!

It was reported that Ahmad Said's political-secretary labelled PM Najib as 'stupid'? Is the Trengganu Mentri Besar aware of it?

And what actually prompted Wan Ahmad Nizam Wan Hamid to utter such a word?
Menurut perwakilan itu lagi, bukannya Najib menentang Ahmad Said.
"Kenapa  Wan Ahmad Nizam perlu bodohkan Najib?" soal beliau.
Dalam ucapannya, Wan Ahmad Nizam yang dicabar jawatan Naib Ketua Bahagian oleh ADUN Air Puteh, Wan Hakim Wan Mokhtar berkata betapa susahnya Ahmad Said nak jadi Menteri Besar buat penggal kedua selepas pilihanraya umum Mei lalu.
Had he really said it, he must apologise to PM... or Mat Said should get another guy for the job!

Dr Mahathir backs Zahid

Posted: 10 Oct 2013 02:17 AM PDT

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi does and says the right thing. He wouldn't have simply opened up his mouth without weighing its consequences.

When he said the police can 'shoot first' at criminals, he meant those with arms. The police will not gun down anybody unless they are being shot at first, like had been in many cases. Usually the criminals will open fire at them first before the police reciprocate.

Even former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is with Zahid, supporting the Home Minister on the matter. Only fools would champion 'the rights of the criminals rather than defending the rights of the victims'.
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 — Police should be allowed to open fire on armed criminal suspects, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today, backing Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's controversial "shoot first" approach that have triggered a human rights storm.
The former prime minister added that the police should refrain from pulling the trigger if the suspect was unarmed.
"When the police sees someone with a gun, it is better to shoot first if they are harmless then it's better not to.
"I would rather put the harm to the criminal than the policemen," he said when asked to comment on Ahmad Zahid's controversial remark.
On Saturday, Ahmad Zahid reportedly advocated a "shoot first" policy for the police in dealing with suspected gang members in the wake of a violent crime spree that has resulted in Malays making up the majority of the victims.
"I think the best way is that we no longer compromise with them. There is no need to give them any more warning. If (we) get the evidence, (we) shoot first," he was quoted as saying by news portal Malaysiakini.
Earlier yesterday, Ahmad Zahid took to Twitter in apparent defence of the remark, slamming his critics for failing failed to consider the rights of police officers and victims of crime, especially those killed.
"Mana hak asasi utk Polis dan mangsa rompak, tembak dan bunuh. Kenapa pejuang hak asasi tidakpun membela? Hak asasi hanya utk penjenayah?" he tweeted in Malay.
(Translation: "Where are human rights for the police and victims of robbery, shooting and murder. Why are human rights activists not defending? Human rights only for criminals?")
The opposition, however is politicising it. Together with Suaram, Suhakam and other human rights NGOs, they are so obsessed with protecting the rights of the criminals rather than measuring the damage and devastation it incurred.

To them, hell with the police personnel and civilians who lost their lives or sustained injury in the hands of those criminals.

Malaysians at large are in support of Zahid but the opposition is losing balance when it comes to security matters. You expect them to administer the country in the next general election? The Cabinet will be full of gangsterism!

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — Accusing Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi of violating the Penal Code, DAP MP Lim Lip Eng has filed a police report to jumpstart an investigation on the home minister for purportedly endorsing extra-judicial killings and for his alleged links with the outlawed Tiga Line gang.
The Segambut MP also disagreed with ex-law minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim who suggested that Ahmad Zahid cannot be punished for his "shoot first" remark as the home minister was espousing a government policy, claiming the police do not have such instructions as part of their standard operating procedure (SOP).
"No, I don't think it's a government policy. It's not the SOP of the police. They don't practise 'shoot first without warning'," the lawyer and federal lawmaker told The Malay Mail Online today, and added, "Zaid is wrong."
Lim had lodged a police report last night against the home minister, whom he claimed to have breached several sections of the Penal Code for making the "shoot first" comment.
