Good news - DAP Chinese embracing Islam...

Posted: 24 Apr 2013 06:19 PM PDT

"Malaysian international actress Datuk Seri Michelle Yeoh was attacked on cyberspace when she expressed her support for BN...

"On the contrary, when Angelica Lee took a picture with Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, BN supporters did not do the same thing..."

"...any person has his or her right to support the political party of their choice in a democratic society, but the above-mentioned incidents reflected DAP as undemocratic as the party did not allow the people to support BN."

- Liberal Democratic Party deputy president Senator Datuk Chin Su Phin who also accused DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang and his son Lim Guan Eng of betraying the Chinese community.

He said PAS had grown stronger in Peninsular Malaysia, as well as being allocated more parliamentary and state seats, and Lim Kit Siang and his son were to blame (which makes him sound anti-PAS as well).

The Lims, he alleged had fabricated stories to mislead voters and young people, which led them to support and vote for PAS, a scenario that had never happened before in Malaysian history.

"In the past, the Chinese only regarded DAP as the opposition party, but today DAP is supporting PAS."

(Agree, Mr Senator. Many say PAS is DAP's trojan horse but its actually the other way round. In Penang, there are more PAS banners and flags for the general election, and its all over the state while DAP is only presence in areas it feels safe to contest).

Chin said Sabahans need not follow the opposition sentiment in Peninsular Malaysia blindly and needed to analyse for themselves.

He said the BN government had provided equal treatment on education, cultural and religious development in Sabah, as well as permitted the use of 'Allah' for Christians in Sabah and Sarawak.

Chin claimed the states under Pakatan Rakyat (PR), including Kelantan and Kedah, had carried out Islamization. "Although DAP does not agree with what PAS has done, Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng are incapable of putting a stop to that."

(Well said, Senator. If Pakatan Rakyat wins the 13th general election. the Lims and DAP will be sidelined because PAS and PKR will dominate it. So, the spirit of racial cooperation as practiced by BN will be gone).

Even Selangor mentri besar Khalid Ibrahim said there is no way that PAS will be allowed to introduce its 'hudud law' to Malaysians if Pakatan forms the next Federal Government.

Hudud law, he said cannot be implemented in multi-racial Malaysia currently because the Federal Constitution bars it.

"Although the controversial Islamic penal code was accepted as a principle of Islamic administration, its execution was precluded by the constitutional safeguards afforded to Malaysia's various ethnic groups," he said.

And despite knowing PAS' position on hudud, DAP was all set to use the PAS logo for the general election although the Registrar of Societies had never banned it from using the rocket symbol.

MCA president Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek said DAP sec-gen Lim Guan Eng was "very happy" to announce the use of the PAS logo, and even claimed more and more Chinese had begun to accept the Islamist party.

Haiyaaaa!!!!

Guan Eng knows PAS' constitution has stated clearly its position on hudud, and yet he declared straight away that DAP candidates can use the PAS logo. This shows clearly that Guan Eng's leadership endorses PAS' agenda of implementing hudud, Dr Chua said.

He also challenged Lim to explain to the non-Muslims how DAP could use the PAS logo without subscribing to the Islamist party's agenda.

"Can another party use the DAP's Rocket (logo) without subscribing to its agenda?" he asked.
