Nayati's dad joins Home Ministry team to fight crime
  • The family of the Dutch boy who was kidnapped, Nayati Moodliar, has been roped in to help bust crime.  His father, Shamelin, will be a part of a special team under the Home Ministry to give his input on violence against women and children.
  • Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the team would comprise NGOs, bloggers and other stakeholders who have an interest in the matter.  "Anyone who feels they can contribute is welcomed," he said here.  He said the team would focus on child trafficking and statelessness.
  • The team will be headed by National Registration Department director-general Datuk Jariah Mohd Said and will start meeting next week.
  • Hishammuddin also revealed that he had been in contact with Nayati's family for the past few months.
  • He said the ministry would be having discussions on crimes against women and children and also those on cyber crimes and serious crimes.
My comments : I can really sympathise with the boy Nayati, his father Shamelin Moodliar & family for their anguish during the ordeal. They are foreign visitors to our country, in transit here for a short while, who became victims of the rot that is creeping into our system.  

But with all due regard how does that make them expert on the deteriorating situation in our country? I mean if Hishamuddin visits the US and someone shoots at him with a high powered rifle in a cinema does that immediately make Hishamuddin an expert on gun wielding American mass murderers? Can Hishamuddin be "roped in" by the FBI into some crime fighting "special team" to save the US? I dont think so.

So why not "rope in" locals who are more expert in the local scene and who have been shouting 'Fire, fire' for so long already?  Malaysians have been screaming for so long that things are not right in the country.

Hishamuddin also says he has been in contact with Nayati's family for the past few months. Well done Hishamuddin. But have you been in contact with Malaysian citizens who have also had their children kidnapped or have themselves been victims of kidnap? Janganlah  'in contact' dengan Mat Salleh saja bro?  Bro, once in a while, cuba lah sikit sikit to be 'in contact' with your fellow Malaysians. We voted for you remember, doh? 

What happened to "rakyat (Malaysia?) didahulukan" and entah ape-ape lagi?

The Bloggers set up a Nurin Network to disseminate information on child kidnappings. Have you been 'in contact' with them? You know to exchange notes how to help out in the neighborhood? Pun takde.

Hisham's special team will look into crimes against women, children, trafficking, statelessness etc. It will be headed by the head of the National Registration Department. Huh??

I say bro, Red IC, Blue IC, register of births and deaths yes lah, dia memang expert but what does the head of the NRD know about crime fighting, crime against women and children? Or trafficking?

I think this is just another buang masa, 'white wash' committee that Hishamuddin has thought up to deviate people's attention from the fact that he does not know what to do. Just set up this committee and that commitee, this and that and hope that the problem will magically go away.

Just two days days ago, Hishamuddin announced that a special "Super Cop" (my choice of words) will be set up to fight all sorts of crime. Here is the news about Super Cop :

  • A senior police officer will lead the National Key Result Area (NKRA) on crime. ..Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the officer concerned would coordinate the Government policies on crime and the deployment of policemen on the ground.
  • The name of the senior officer is expected to be announced today.
  • Hishammuddin said the move was part of the Government's efforts to curb crime.. "The officer's appointment is to ensure that every initiative is implemented smoothly, such as the steps being taken to ensure the safety of the public at shopping malls.
  • "Hopefully, this will restore public confidence, especially in public places like shopping malls, parks and schools," he told a press conference 
Folks, listen carefully ok. Hisham is saying that the IGP is also sleeping on the job. That is what Hisham is saying. The CPOs, the OCPDs have all failed in their job. The entire Police is sleeping on the job. So now Hishamudin wants the Head of the National Registration Dept  to show the Police how to do their jobs. 

Plus he has also appointed a "Super Cop" who will  "coordinate the Government policies on crime and the deployment of policemen on the ground."

    • Well Hisham, while you were busy setting up committees, walking around the Pavillion, irritating people with your jack ass laughter and such, there was yet another RM2.0 million robbery by yet another South American gang. Here be the news :
        • Despite several arrests, foreigners, mostly South Americans, are still operating in the KL International Airport using distraction tactics to steal suitcases containing valuables from travellers.
      • In the latest incident, two women – a Costa Rican and a Mexican – were arrested after stealing almost RM2mil worth of diamond jewellery from a Hong Kong woman.
      • Police checked the airport CCTV recordings and coupled with intelligence reports, raided a condominium in Jalan Semantan.
      • ..police also arrested a Colombian father-and-son team, two Costa Rican men and an Ugandan woman.
      • The younger Colombian is studying at a college in Kajang, while the Ugandan woman is enrolled in a college in Puchong.
    Costa Rican lah, Mexican lah, South American lah, Colombian, Ugandan, father and son team, studying at a college, enrolled in a college and on and on. Never ending - the list just goes on. 

    I think after reading my Blog here, Hishamuddin will make another announcement tomorrow. He is going to announce that after 'Super Cop', he is going to call in Robocop as well. 


    Hishamuddin, you, Khaled Noordin, Ng Yen Yen are all sleeping on the jobs. You are responsible for all these foreigner related crimes in Malaysia. Here is my suggestion : can you have yourselves locked up? I think that would be better for the country. The Lembu Condo should be empty. Free grazing is provided. Go and check in.

    Then Hisham also says that the Special Branch does not know how to do their work. In a briefing in Parliament last week, Bukit Aman Social Extremist Division chief assistant director E2 (M) Datuk Mohd Sofian Md Makinuddin had said that JI terrorists and communists were trying to infiltrate PAS and DAP respectively.

    But Hishammud-din said the Government has not detected a threat to national security from the alleged "infiltration" by Jemaah Islamiah (JI) and communists.  So Datuk Mohd Sofian, Bah. E2 SB, you jangan temberang ok. Hisham kata there is no such thing. He should know. He is the Minister. ha ha ha..
