The suspension of Dany Bahar follows the takeover of Lotus's parent company Proton by Malaysian group DRB-Hicom Berhad earlier this year and concerns that Lotus production could be moved abroad.
DRB-Hicom has been reviewing the operations of Lotus, which employs 1,200 staff at its base in Norfolk, and been forced to deny claims that it is planning to sell the loss-making car maker to Chinese companies.
In a statement last night, DRB-Hicom confirmed that Mr Bahar has been "temporarily suspended from his role to facilitate an investigation into a complaint about his conduct made by.....DRB- Hicom Berhad".
The company declined to comment on the nature of the complaint. Mr Bahar is understood to have suspended at a meeting with DRB-Hicom in Malaysia on Friday morning. No other workers have been suspended and no external authorities are involved in the investigation.
DRB-Hicom added: "In Mr Bahar's absence, Dato' Lukman Ibrahim, Mr Mohd Khalid Yusof and Mr Aslam Farikullah – representatives of Lotus' parent companies – have been authorised by Group Lotus plc's board to handle and conduct the day to day management and affairs of the Lotus Group."

I received an email about this. Here are some questions raised by the e mailer:

"Heard above yesterday. This sh*t will hit the fan.  Many questions:-
1) Who found him ? Azlan? Nazmi ? Syed or was he recommended?
2) He was to buy a stake in Lotus ( did anyone check his finances)
3) The vaunted audit committee -why did it allow a £ 200 m Proton gurantee?
4). Carsparts over charged x3  - so are services I hear.
5) Why did CEO of Proton let Dany do what he wanted to do ? Friend? Cahoots? Ignorance?
6) The 3 sports car won't be delivered at the right cost ... says italian vendors X3 parts/services supplied.
7) Guess who takes the cream? I guess he couldn't do it alone -as Chinese say one hand clap no sound it has to be two (hands clapping)."

I blame the Khazanah monkeys. Obviously they were sleeping on the job again.

Folks, talk is these Khazanah fellows cannot even write a simple cover letter without referring to the con-sultans.

The PM has to get rid of this entire riff raff that he has inherited from the Slumberjack regime. More and more crap is going to hit the fan.

We are finding out about this debacle because DRB Hicom has taken over Proton and they are now doing a house cleaning. More crap will come out.

Just get rid of the entire Khazanah team. Even better just shut down Khazanah Nasional Bhd. What is their contribution to the nation? And please get rid of that dunggu Minister who has been running Khazanah since the corrupt Slumberjack.

Nik Aziz : Karpal, Non Muslims Are Communists, Not Fit To Be PM

Well that is how I understand it.  But before that yesterday's Himpunan Berjuta Belia in Putrajaya  was quite a crowd puller.  There were easily about 500,000 people present around the Boulevard area alone. Taken over the three days,  the crowd was easily over a million people. There were people in Presinct 4, around the Boulevard and else where in Putrajaya.

The place is huge - so the crowd was well spread out. Congratulations to PM Dato Sri Najib for having such a huge gathering of people with minimal disruption to the country's business and economy. There were NO traffic jams in Kuala Lumpur on account of the Himpunan Berjuta Belia.

Well, back to dungguism, here is a news item about Nik Aziz :

Nik Aziz: Country must be led by a Muslim

MACHANG: Pas spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat yesterday insisted that Malaysia should be led by a Muslim prime minister as Islam was professed by the majority of people in the country.

He said having a Muslim prime minister was consistent with the religious composition of the country, where Muslims formed the majority.

DAP chairman Karpal Singh was reported to have made a statement on Wednesday that he would continue to struggle for a non-Malay to become prime minister.
Karpal had said although the opposition parties had agreed that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the most suitable candidate to hold the number one post in the country, he personally felt that that there was no law to stop a non-Malay from holding the post.
Nik Aziz, who is also Kelantan menteri besar, said communist countries would only appoint a communist to be the top government leader and not those who preached democracy.   Similarly, he added, a democratic country would not elevate a candidate who championed communism to be its prime minister.
"It is okay if (Karpal) wishes to put a non-Malay as prime minister but on a condition that the candidate is a Muslim.  "It is unacceptable to have a non-Muslim to lead a country with a Muslim-majority population," he said.
My comments : So if Karpal wishes to put a non Muslim as Prime Minister in Malaysia, it is just like a democratic country putting a communist as Prime Minister.  Ergo, a non Muslim in Malaysia is like a communist !!  So Karpal must also be a communist !!
Firstly, we can see how stupid Nik Aziz is - democratic countries HAVE elected communists before.

Salvador Allende (26 June 1908 – 11 September 1973) was a Chilean physician and politician who is generally considered the first democratically elected Marxist to become president of a country inLatin America.

Since the 1950s  India (the largest democracy in the world) has consistently elected communist State Governments (West Bengal, Kerala, Bihar, Jharkland, Orissa, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh etc).  Francois Mitterand, the French President was the first leader of the French Socialist Party to be elected President of France. And Mitterand promptly brought in Communists as part of his Cabinet.
Secondly it is sad that there are still simple people in this country whose level of intelligence can be entertained by someone who looks like this :

NIK AZIZ

We really need to revamp our education system. Dont you want more people like OutSyed The Box in this country  : ))

Thirdly, read carefully what Kapal Sink is saying :   Karpal had said although the opposition parties had agreed that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the most suitable candidate to hold the number one post in the country, he personally felt that that there was no law to stop a non-Malay from holding the post.

Here Kapal Sink is obviously referring to Anwar Ibrahim's Tamil ancestry.  In Singapore the Tamils are referred to as 'daun kari' or 'curry leaves'. They only flavour the curry, after that they are thrown away.  In the same way, Kapal Sink will exploit  Anwar Ibrahim to win the elections.

And if the Pakatan were to win, then Kapal Sink says :  "although the opposition parties had agreed that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the most suitable candidate to hold the number one post in the country, he personally felt that that there was no law to stop a non-Malay from holding the post.."

So Brader Anwar Bin Ibrahim jadi daun kari saja lah.  There is a conventional wisdom building up that the DAP will win big in the next GE and that the biggest loser will be the PKR.  Takkan the leader of the smallest party in Parliament jadi PM pula?

Folks, Tun Dr Mahathir said it plainly for everyone to understand. The Federal Constitution says it very clearly.  This country is a democracy. One man one vote. The majority rules.  And the Member of Parliament who can command the support of the majority in Parliament will become the Prime Minister - whether he is Malay, Indian, Chinese, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or whatever.

The majority of voters in this country are Malay and Muslim. If a non Malay and non Muslim wishes to become Prime Minister it is very, very easy. He or she must get the support of the Malays and Muslims. Apa susah sangat?  You take care of them they will vote for you.
