PAS nonsense!

Posted: 24 Dec 2013 09:33 PM PST

For the first time ever, PAS defies its own Islamic 'principles' by celebrating Christmas. At a glance, its a good move towards religious reconciliation but from overall perspective, the party was playing a deceitful game, all for politics.

As the 'Allah' controversy continues to smoulder and cast a pall over Christmas, PAS lawmaker Mujahid Yusof Rawa reached out to Christians, expressing his solidarity in the fight against religious extremism, racism and injustice.

The head of the Islamist party's national unity bureau said his religion has always taught its followers to cherish diversity and respect others.

What a farce! Call it 'the joke of the year', if you may. But knowing PAS, they will do anything for the sake of political survival, even to the extent of disengaging some of the 'hardline and extreme' philosophies it had advocated to.
"I stand today as a fellow Malaysian in your Christmas celebration to call you to fight with me against injustice, racism and religious extremism and to say with a clear voice WE LOVE THIS NATION AND WE WILL NOT SURRENDER TO THOSE WHO WANT TO DESTROY IT IN THE NAME OF EXTREMISM AND TYRANNY," Muhajid said in a statement advocating peace.
He added that that all of Islam's prophets, including Isa Ibnu Maryam — as Jesus the son of Mary is known to Christians— and the Quran also stress on neighbourly love, including to those of other faiths.
"As a Muslim I was taught by my Prophets including Isa Ibnu Maryam (peace be upon all of them) to cherish [sic] diversity and live with respect to others. I was told by my Book (Al Quran) that it is vital I live strongly with my faith but at the same time accept diversity and live with respect strongly.
The second-term federal Parit Buntar MP said the pursuit to build bridges joining the peoples of different religions is a sacred duty, as it is in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
"It is within this context that my conviction of a peaceful interfaith relationship has turned into a sacred struggle where the soldiers of peace and bridge builders come together not to draw their sword to 'others' but to convey the message of PEACE OR SALAM with full of COMPASSION and LOVE but with DIGNITY and PRIDE," Mujahid said.
I almost choked myself to death. I couldn't help but laughed aloud reading this statement, a flat joke similar to that of Mr Bean and Benny Hills.

It came from a party that tried 'to kill' his Muslim brothers in Umno, a party that all the while divides the Muslim into two categories - Muslims in Barisan National and Muslims in PAS.

Who was responsible for issuing a fatwa that 'all PAS members fighting for PAS will automatically go to heaven.Who introduced 'sembahyang dua imam', and that a chicken or a cow slaughtered by Umno members is 'haram to eat?

Who goes around telling the rakyat that Umno was never Islam, that all of them will go to hell! But what is your kind of Islam?

And now you talk extremism...!

WISHING MALAYSIANS MERRY X'MAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

                                                 Its another national celebration

NAJIB's Christmas message - Prime Minister yesterday called on all Malaysians to ensure the country continues to enjoy harmony and unity in its diversity.
The prime minister said unity in diversity has always been Malaysia's hallmark which makes it unique, and allows the people to celebrate every religious festival in harmony.
"Indeed, this is only possible as our true strength lies in our acceptance of each other's differences. We are at our strongest and most majestic when we are united as one," Najib said in his Christmas message posted on his 1Malaysia blog.

LIM KIT SIANG's message however contains bad disposition about the Malays and Umno, chiding Barisan Nasional as 'evil' and full of racist 'lunatics'.
"It is a grave concern to all thinking and patriotic Malaysians that in recent times, this lunatic fringe of society seems to have moved closer to the citadels of power securing space and patronage for the propagation of its message of racial hatred and religious intolerance.
"Not only mainstream media but even national conventions of ruling political parties have become platforms for such message of racial hatred and religious intolerance — as illustrated recently," he said in a statement.
At Umno's general assembly earlier this month, he said delegates clamoured for greater rewards for the Malay and Bumiputera communities for being staunch supporters of the ruling coalition.
One delegate even called for the government's "1Malaysia" tagline to be replaced with "1Melayu", in an apparent dig at the non-Malays for choosing to side with the opposition.
Who is the actual racist lunatic, Lim? Go mirror yourself first!

'Bukit Aman under attack!'

Posted: 24 Dec 2013 01:40 AM PST

Some people get cheap thrill and entertainment by posting lies and rumors on the social media. They are happy with such an 'amusement'.

And just because the government has been so 'flexible' in dealing with such acts, they got new excitement.

Latest, Bukit Aman became the victim when some FB 'posers' posted about a suicidal attacks on the police headquarters today, resulting in 'many policemen dead and injured'!

A Christmas joke? The police must investigate and reprimand those involved. If no strict law is imposed on such nasty activity, soon we would read too much lies such as 'KLCC crumbles' or 'PM and Rosmah divorce' or 'Nora Danish marries blogger Husin Lempoyang'.
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 (Bernama) -- Police today denied claims on Facebook that the police headquarters in Bukit Aman, here, has been attacked, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Bukit Aman's Inspector-General of Police secretariat (Corporate Communication), Supt Lai Lee Ching said the situation in Bukit Aman was peaceful and operating as usual.
He stressed that the dissemination of false news was a despicable act and police would act firmly against the culprit.
"In a follow up to the spread of such rumours, a police report was lodged and the case will be investigated under Section 505 (b) of the Penal Code which carries a two-year jail sentence, fine or both," he said in a statement today.
Lai also urged the public not to spread such false news or risk answering to the law.
The statement on Facebook, among others, claimed that Bukit Aman was attacked by a group of suicide bombers which resulted in deaths and injuries among policemen.
Also, the culprits who has been inciting the public to a 'Perhimpunan Gulingkan Kerajaan' on New Year's eve must be 'kept for good'. That's treacherous and dangerous!

However, all these happen when one two people set the precedent. Bersih was one of it!

Only if the Internal Security Act (ISA) is still around...
