CIMB ads in Mkini Posted: 15 Oct 2013 12:14 PM PDT I don't want to ask CIMB boss Nazir about the bank displaying its advertisement in Malaysiakini. I just wanna ask the senior aides of big brother, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. They may have an answer, not only for me but for Malaysians. All that we know, Mkini is anti-government's news portal while CIMB is 'suppose' to be pro-Barisan Nasional since Nazir is there. Why can't CIMB advertise that golf tournament in the mainstream media - NST Group, The Star and Utusan? Whose idea was it?

To Malaysians, regardless of race and religion, what have we sacrificed to keep the nation peaceful, united and resilient? To our leaders, what sacrifices have you made to ensure that politics of racism will not break us apart? And to religious heads, why can't we sacrifice minor and petty demands for the sake of a stronger understanding, mutual respect and co-existence? Without small sacrifices and tolerance, what would become of our country?
