Posted: 02 Jul 2013 10:13 AM PDT At the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, Deputy Speaker Ismail Mohamed Said barred MPs from bringing up Kugan's case in the House as it would be subjudicial as the government was appealing the High Court decision. "Even though the decision has been made, the government still has 30 days to appeal," Ismail noted. A day earlier, Suaram made a deafening remark by telling Barisan Nasional government to accept the High Court's verdict on the late Kugan. Suaram's coordinator Thevarajan R said Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamid has no ground to appeal the verdict on behalf of the government. The home minister is talking about rights and the freedom to appeal. Suaram would like to remind the minister that there are other rights that he should realise as well. This guy talks about rights but is so blind about its definition. I guess he hates reading newspapers and books, no wonder his understanding about 'rights' is so shallow! Of course the government - and every human being, organisation, government and even 'dogs' - deserves the right to appeal. Why can't the government appeal the verdict? Because you are another 'bloody fool' or just another moron who doesn't understand your own words? Why can't you tell Anwar Ibrahim whom you support to accept the result of the 13th general election, the verdict of the rakyat? I think you better stop talking. The next time you want to open up your mouth, better mirror yourself first. If you and Suaram are so perfect, then you may speak up. Otherwise, go back to school! |
