'Arrest Dr Wong Chin Huat'!

Posted: 30 Dec 2013 07:40 PM PST

This comment, 'warning and 'request' was sent by one Dato' Mustapha Ong bin Abdul Malek @ Abdullah, in response to my posting 'Dangerous statement' on Sunday, December 29.

He threw a challenge to Marina Mahathir, Marina Chin, K.T John, Ambiga and others to make some public statements on what Wong had said the other day, about '...learning Bahasa Malaysia is the government's hidden agenda to Islamise all Malaysians'.

Calling it as an insult to the country and Islam, he also asked non-political NGOs to lodge a police report on him, and questioned if Anwar Ibrahim, Rafizi Ramli, Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng and other oppositions figures would come to Wong's defense.
To Dr Wong Chin Huat,

I am Dato Mustapha Ong bin Abdul Mallek @Abdullah, a Muslim practitioner who is offended by your provocative statement against our proviso of the Federal Constitution, the position of the Malays, Bumiputras, Islam and Bahasa Malaysia(Bahasa Melayu) in your public outburst for your own lunatic or political agenda under cover of DAP in Penang.

Unfortunately, my memory @ 70 + years is still sound and alert and this is not the first time you have insulted our position and intelligence. I recalled that in one of our social forum held to commemorate the fasting of Ramadan at one Sahur (breaking of fasting) in Bangsar, KL you were one of the committee member of the all Malaysian events which some prominent attendance by some renowned opposition key members and NGO.

I was present too and one of the unsolicited speaker as recorded in the U-Tube. I am afraid SB PDRM and MI have the recorded tape on you and the event which was highly politicised by the opposition and some NGOs. The rest is history and I shall now stand on my own conviction. Can someone please lodge a report in Penang, preferably non political entity, ie not UMNO or BN in order to facilitate federal investigation against Wong Chin Huat. I call upon Marina Mahathir, Marina Chin, KT. John, Ambiga to make some public statement on this issue of national interest. Please don't hide under your skirt or sarong and deny the right of public prosecution.

I also challenge my dear political comrade bro Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to commence immediate KDN investigation or even before Wong Chin Huat abscond to Thailand or fly off to China, HK, Singapore or Taiwan. Wong should be detained for 14 days pending security investigation and maybe he should taste the courtesy and comfort of Sungai Buloh Detention Resort.

Finally can Anwar Ibrahim, LGE, LKS, Ambiga, Karpal Singh or even the bright spark of Rafizi cone to Wong's defence? It's anybody's guess but "Kita tunggu dan lihat" because this issue is serious with national security interest! I am a nobody but busybody at this age of 70 years ++. Thank you Dr, Wong "every dog has its day and I Mustapha Ong n family also have our share of bad days and good days due to the Anwar political saga and acts of malicious and treasons, etc."

Wong may the good Lord protect you, not DAP or Allah as you have chosen to discredit and offend Him in the name Allah and Islam!

Najib's prudent spending...

Posted: 30 Dec 2013 05:20 AM PST

My blog post today came a bit late. I was waiting for this announcement by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak - on public sector's spending and allowance reduction for his Cabinet members.

After much anticipation, this is what we get:
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 30, 2013): Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak today announced 11 measures to slash public sector expenditure beginning Jan 1, 2014, one of which is the reduction by 10% of the entertainment allowance of ministers and deputy ministers.
These measures are in accordance with the government's desire to practise more prudent spending in the new year, he said in a statement issued here.
He said the decision to introduce the measures was made following a discussion with Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa.
Najib said the government would also reduce the entertainment allowance of senior government officers on the Jusa C Grade and above by between five and 10%.
Furthermore, the toll facility for senior government officers would also be reduced by between RM50 and RM100 or 30%, he said.
Najib, who is also the finance minister, said the government would also amend the eligibility for domestic and international flight tickets for civil servants, whereby civil servants on the Jusa C Grade and below will only be eligible for the economy class on domestic flights.
The government would also reduce by 5% the electricity utility cost at all ministries, departments, agencies and government premises, he said.
The prime minister said the government would freeze fresh applications for renovation of government offices while optimising the use of existing office space to reduce rental of offices premises.
Najib said the government would tighten the appointment of consultants for government physical projects, including the conducting of feasibility studies.
The proposal for appointment of these consultants would have to be submitted to the National Development Planning Committee chaired by the Chief Secretary to the Government for prior approval.
Najib said the government would also cut down on the use of event management companies as well as the awarding of door gifts or souvenirs during government conferences or events involving members of the administration and civil servants.
He also said that the government would reduce the food and drinks as well as the use of buntings and banners when organising conferences, seminars, meetings, courses, workshops or any official government function.
The government would also apply the National Blue Ocean Strategy approach by optimising the use of the 1Malaysia Training Centre (1MTC) and facilities at government-owned training institutions for organising courses, seminar and workshops, he said. – Bernama
Hmmm... it fell short of the much-awaited 'declaration' that there wouldn't be any toll hike and price increase of consumer items.

Frustrated? No, we shouldn't. I believe he will come up with other announcement (to reduce our burden) soon. His aides told me, "just wait!"

Price hike was the main reason his FB account came under 'attack' by netizens discontented over 'harga barang naik'.

I hope our premier applies his own jurisdiction and good mind in making some decision, and not 'exclusively depending' on his advisers.

Okay ka?
