Sunnah Of The Jews Posted: 09 Jun 2012 10:35 PM PDT Hasidic Jew fired from NYPD over beard length Associated Press  NEW YORK (AP) — An Orthodox Jew who was weeks away from becoming a New York City police officer said he has been kicked out of the police academy for refusing to trim his beard. Former recruit Fishel Litzman of Monsey was fired Friday after multiple confrontations with the department over the length of his whiskers, he told the Daily News (http://nydn.us/LDIivf). Litzman is Hasidic and believes that cutting his beard is forbidden by God. NYPD rules usually require officers to be clean-shaven. The department makes exceptions for beards kept for religious purposes, but even then only allows 1 millimeter worth of growth.  "I don't understand what the problem would be," Litzman said. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said the department's rules are reasonable and Litzman was aware of them when he signed up.  Litzman was first cited in January for his unkempt beard. He was a month away from receiving his shield when he was fired. The Poll Results Posted: 09 Jun 2012 08:36 AM PDT Folks, I ran this poll :  HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE FACT THAT IN 2008 THE PAKATAN WON FIVE STATES AND BROKE THE BN'S 2/3 MAJORITY IN PARLIAMENT? 149 of you voted. Thank you. Here are the results in descending order : 1. Errr..cos a majority in five States and in 1/3 Parliamentary seats voted for Pakatan?  82 (55%) 2. It was an UMNO conspiracy    38 (25%) 3. There were toyol in the Ballot Boxes    19 (12%) 4. The UMNOputras were rushing for lima ringgit burgers at McDs on Polling Day  10 (6%) I am glad that the majority (55%) voted for No. 1.  At least among reader's of this Blog there is faith that the EC is not trying to con anyone.  Choices 2, 3 and 4 were just goofball answers but I suspect many of you who voted 2,3 and 4  are also fed up (like me) with all the crap that is being thrown out by these Bersih dunggus. I think those people are confused. They made Police Reports about the burger protest and such. But it was a really peaceful protest. Shaking the booty is not violent. The girls in the fitness videos do it all the time. Some of you even pay big money to watch people shaking their booties. (Jangan jadi hypocrite ok).  But I agree that violating the booty can be violent. You can be jailed for that.
